Pop Art

This week we had a short lecture over Pop Art. Pop Art was also known as Pop Culture and it was also called Neo-Dadaism. Pop Art consisted of people taking everyday things and putting them into paintings or any other form of art, just like Dadaism. However one picture that Dr. Tucker showed us was a picture of a lot of different pictures that were cut out and pasted on a canvas. When I looked at this piece I kind of liked it. It was different however I thought it was pretty cool how the different things in the photo came together to make one image. However I also think that Pop Art is extremely hard to make, I took a art class in high school and I had a tough time trying to figure a piece to make that involved a lot of other photos, it was very time consuming that is for sure.
