Romantic Movement

The main topic I will be covering is the Romantic Movement. In the Romantic Movement the first edition of lyrical ballads was created by Wordsworth and it was then published by Coleridge.
The Principle theme of the Romantic Movement was Personal Continuity, which is the reality of the self and its responses to experience.
English Romanticism was first consciously the avant-garde movement. the Avant-Garde movement questioned science and technology, it also questioned peoples class and gender distinctions.
Somethings I thought that was interesting was what the true meaning of being a poet is. A poet is someone who: is endowed with a lively sensibility, has a greater knowledge of human nature, has more comprehensive soul and takes pleasure in his or her own passions and feelings.
Another thing I found interesting was what the poetry language was used for. The poetry language was used mostly for men, and was used for the incidents of common life, or a closer connection to essential passions.
